We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all and takes the hygiene of and around its events very seriously.

We have designed our sites to allow visitors to socialise safely whilst maintaining physical distance from others. Underbelly has been awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard mark.

The safety of our visitors and staff is our priority. We will be following the government advice throughout the festival, updating this page as more information is released.

Here's what we're doing to help keep everyone safe, and what you can do to help. These are in line with Government advice and the requirements of local health authorities.

Follow markers in queues and observe social distancing when moving around the event site

For tickets purchased online e-tickets are preferred. If required, tickets are available to be collected at the Box Office.

Face Masks
Under current government guidance, face masks must be worn when watching shows in our Spiegeltent. This may be subject to change in line with government guidance. The rest of the festival site is outdoors so face masks are not required.

Hand Sanitiser
Regularly use the hand sanitising stations throughout the site

Social Distancing in venues
All shows at London Wonderground are being sold as a socially distanced performances with a reduced capacity, in line with UK Government’s social-distancing guidelines. If the Government guidance changes, we will follow their advice and increase our capacity.

Our venues may move from socially distanced seating to full capacity seating. If this happens, ticket holders will be notified of the change to your booking as soon as possible.

We will have increased cleaning and sanitation of all areas throughout the festival

Contactless Payment
For everyone’s safety, contactless payments are preferred at London Wonderground.

Feeling Unwell with COVID-19 symptoms?
We will be following government guidance throughout Underbelly Festival. If you test positive for COVID-19 or are required to isolate due to close contact with a COVID-19 infected individual or are requested to do so by the NHS Test and Trace app, do not come to site.

If this happens to you, please email boxoffice@underbelly.co.uk prior to the performance and we will organise an exchange for another show at London Wonderground or offer a credit voucher.

About Underbelly Ltd

Underbelly is a UK based live entertainment company specialising in the creation, curation and management of large-scale cultural events and festivals with a particular focus on city centres. Established in 2000 at the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Underbelly has since produced events in locations from theatres to roundabouts in London, Edinburgh, and Hong Kong.

Our current London events and festivals include Underbelly Festival, London Wonderground at Earls Court, StreetEat, which was one of the first outdoor COVID safe events, Christmas In Leicester Square and Christmas in Trafalgar Square (both for Westminster City Council). We are also the event production partner for WestEnd Live in Trafalgar Square (on behalf of Westminster City Council and Society London Theatre) and Pride in London, the second largest one day event in London. Underbelly also produces La Clique, opening at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore in May.

In Scotland, we produce Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe, programming and presenting 200 shows per day across 24 popup theatres and 5 outdoor sites, Edinburgh’s Christmas, and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Festival (both for City of Edinburgh Council). In 2020, in lieu of live events, we produced FareWell for the online Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebration which was watched by over 6.5 million people.

We love creating fantastic and unique pop-up events. We love entertaining. We love creating something for all ages and all tastes to enjoy. Most of all, we love live entertainment and events. In 2019, we sold over 1.4 million tickets to events and productions that we produced and welcomed more than 9 million people to our event and festival sites
